ETHICS AND THE LAW Many drug manufacturers now advertise on television, the radio and in printed publications. Advertisements for drugs frequently contain a laundry list of frightening side effects that may occur with use of the drug. Whether communicated through the fine print in a magazine or the announcer's quick words at the end of a commercial, warnings may include potential side effects ranging from headaches or dizziness to death.
