As an engineer working for the Hot Rock Energy Company, you have been asked to design a new hybrid geothermal plant using geothermal vapor from a well to preheat the air leaving an air compressor and entering a combustion gas turbine that is part of a combined cycle plant. The preheated air will replace the need to burn fuel in the combustor. The geothermal vapor flow must go through a heat exchanger that is shared with the compressed air from the gas turbine compressor. The geothermal vapor condenses and then flows back to the ground.
