As I reflect on the process, defining the problem was clear, as I knew that my son needed a reliable car for practical purposes and for travel to and from college. The criteria were easily identified based on what I valued in a vehicle. The challenging aspect was that generating alternatives was limited; I did not actively seek out diverse opinions or conduct a thorough search, thinking my initial options were sufficient. Evaluating alternatives was challenging as well because I failed to consider important factors, such as the vehicle$$s full history and market comparisons.
