As per an email on Jan 5, 2023 to the student body from Downstate administration, the campus-wide mask mandate has been reinstated. "All Downstate employees (hospital and non-hospital) and students must wear masks indoors in all Downstate facilities."

Does the university have the right to tell us to wear a mask or not? Why?
