As we begin our course study, we learn from Gray and Larson (2014) that project-oriented work has been responsible for much of humankind's greatest accomplishments. Gray and Larson (2014) noted that, "project management provides people with a powerful set of tools" (p. 3). All of us have worked on a project or been involved in some manner on a project. Please describe how the project work differed from your regular daily job responsibilities. What tools specific to project management were used? Did these tools differ from those you use on your regular job? Please be very specific giving examples to clarify major points. When responding to other students posts, compare and contrast your description, responsibilities, and tools.
