As we begin Unit $3$ and dive into job analysis we will start looking at knowledge, skills, and abilities. It is important to note that when we do a job analysis we may have to evaluate more than just basic skills. Competencies may be a better guide to select a candidate. So how do we evaluate someone on competencies? When should we identify tasks and when should we identify skills? or both? and how?
