Lyft provides a lot of advantages to their employees the biggest one being flexibility. However, Drivers are considered independent contractors leaving them with no benefits. Another disadvantage regarding Lyft is they charge more than other competitors. From experience the drivers are getting paid poorly and not providing job security.
