As youve learned this semester, there are differences between overall project success, achieved when the project deliverables are commercially or organizationally met and, in project management success == when a project attains its deliverables within scope, on time, within budget, and a majority of identified risks are mitigated. Hence, any effective PM must use their project management skills to guide a project towards success, including:

• Identifying, documenting, and managing changes in the project effectively.
• Monitoring and reporting the project progress consistently to stakeholders.
• Focusing on achieving the project goals while avoiding scope creep.
• Reevaluating the forecast schedule and if necessary, shortening phase "releases" using agile methods so iterations gain feedback
