Assessment 3: Group project (problem solving and oral presentation) Worth 30% This task is designed to develop your ability to contribute fruitfully to a group task; assess an organisational issue or problem as objectively as possible; appreciate the potential of theory in managerial decision making and problem solving; apply theory to 'real life'; take managerial responsibility by designing a practical course of action. Task description: This is a group assignment, and the lecturer will create and finalize assignment groups by week 5 (4- 5 members in each group). Groups are required to prepare PowerPoint presentation (8-10 slides) which will be delivered in class during week 11 and 12. Specific time for presentation will be negotiated in the class. PPT slides must be correctly and adequately referenced using Harvard/APA style. Time allowed: 15 minutes per group including Q&A. Steps to be followed: 1. Each group shall identify a problem (only one problem relating to OB) in an organisation that they have access to (preferably an organisation where at least one group member works or has worked recently.
