Assessment Task: You are required to compile an Annotated bibliography of 5 peer-reviewed journal articles related to Strategic Management. Below are the steps to be followed in answering the given task.

Step 1. Select an industry sector.

Identify a sector for example (e.g. agriculture; construction; financial services; health care; hospitality; manufacturing; mining; retail; transport, etc). Identify the application of Strategic Management in the selected industry sector. The industry sector chosen can be varied.

Step 2. Undertake research of the recent academic literature since 2016 on the selected industry sector in Step 1.

Identify five (5) academic peer reviewed journal articles relevant to the selected industry in Step 1 in the area of Strategic Management. It is suggested that you align your selected articles with the topics in Strategic Management (e.g. Strategic Planning, Strategy Formation, Strategy Cycle, etc).

Step 3. Write summary on each article chosen

For each journal article, you are to write approximately 400 500 words of summary report. Articles and Journals can be obtained via Emerald, ProQuest and other relevant journal search websites. The articles / journals need not to be attached with the assessment submission. Each 5 journals / Articles will be reviewed separately accordingly to the below: -

First Paragraph

Summarize the main ideas of the article, identifying the hypothesis, purpose, research methodology and conclusions	30 marks
Second Paragraph
Identify how you will use that article in relation to Strategic Management? What was the most surprising/interesting thing you found out by reading this article?
