You will be supplied with only some limited templates in the tutorials. It is up to your group to supplement and create the overall project plan.

Value: 25% Due: Sunday Midnight of Week 6.

Submission: Each group must submit an electronic copy of the project reports through Moodle by thespecified due dates. You will be able submit early drafts. Further update in the tutorial.

Assessment topic: Students are required to apply pragmatic project management to the given case study.

Task Details: PMBOK Case Study an Australian based Web development company is called Websy Pty Ltd. They currently provide a range of Websites for external customers using Content Management Systems (CMS) they tend to specialize on WordPress and Drupal. They are currently working in various industries and the most recently have been awarded a contract by charity The Smith Family is non-profit charity based in Level 17, 2 Market Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. refer https://www.thesmithfamily.com.au/ The Website module is just facilitating the donation.

Some are existing Donors. You need to link to existing website to get details of existing Donors. There are multiple payments including cheque. There is a module for staff to update when it is received and

send a receipt by email. As it is tax deductible charity registered by ATO.

You need send ATO the donor file with the amounts every tax year about 1 month after the tax year. project Objective: - Appoint your team to implement The Smith Family website that is re-usable later by other customers but provides for to keep track of donations.

It is development project of Content Management System/Extranet website.

Modules needed are:

If previous doner: look up donor by the previous unique id

First time donor: collect details (Name, Address, Phone Number & email)

First time donor: select payment amount and method

First time donor: generate unique id

First time donor: select plan

Note: there are options of one-off payment for gifts and there is an option to select regular monthly plan for indefinite period

Previous details on donor generated unique id; and extract (Name, Address, Phone Number & email; Child, appeal or plan selected, payment amount payment and method) are linked to existing website.

Module to facilitate Electronic Funds Transfer from Bank Account Module to facilitate cheque Module for staff to confirm when the funds have arrived and provided a receipt by email Module for staff to send donor file to ATO one month after tax year Reports (Donor details, donation amounts per period, etc.)

Desired Outcomes:

o You need to select the Content Management System of your own choice either WordPress or Drupal and development tools.

o The system needs to be fully available on secure robust infrastructure in cloud.

o You need to specify the production environment, that The Smith Family will buy and provide.

o Set-up resources (development and test environment) and development teams and project management resources.

o It requires advanced security appropriate for extranet site and regular back-up.
