For each variable, conditions are listed in the table. Your task is to help the researchers by doing the following: 1) Describe the variable of interest assigned to you. (1-2 sentences that indicate you understand what the variable of interest is and how it may influence vigilance/foraging in squirrels). 2) Identify the independent variable(s). 3) Identify the dependent variable(s). 4) Write a hypothesis (an explanation) about how the independent variable may impact squirrel behavior. 5) Now write a null hypothesis for your stated hypothesis. 6) Make a prediction based upon your hypothesis.
