Assignment 1 The file - pizzasize.csv - contains size data (diameter in centimeters) for a sample of 250 pizzas of varying crust types and toppings for two pizza chains - Eagle Boys and Dominos. Explore and analyze the data set using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Submit a brief (maximum 2 pages) report (in Word or PDF format) that includes: a) A discussion about the descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, etc.) on pizza size for each of the two chains (overall, by crust, by topping, by crust and topping) b) Your findings for the hypothesis that Eagle Boys' pizzas have "the real size 12-inch large pizzas" c) Your findings for the hypothesis that Eagle Boys' pizzas are the same size as Dominos' pizzas Note: For b) and c) you have to develop appropriate hypotheses, and verify the claims using statistical tests (e.g., one-sample and two-sample t-tests). It would be incorrect and insufficient to rely solely on descriptive statistics to support your answers.
