Assignment Objectives

COVID-19 has fundamentally changed work, the workforce and the workplace. The purpose of the assignment is to familiarize yourself with current issues in Human Resources and develop your research and analytical skills, specifically related to a post Covid-19 world. This is a Human Resources assignment. There is no need to go into great detail about Covid-19 and it health implications.

Questions and Report Guidelines

1. Prepare an executive summary for your report. An executive summary is an overview of your report summarising key points of your report. The executive summary is not an introduction. It should be clear, concise and high level.
2. Your research focus should be on the Canadian workplace only.
3. Critically assess how Covid-19 is redefining work, the workforce and the workplace.
4. Discuss the HR challenges and implications facing Canadian organizations and how they have to shift their people strategy in light of the pandemic
5. Explain the dangers of a poorly implemented post Covid-19 plan. Evaluate the potential effect on the organization and HR.
6. Provide practical and creative recommendations for organizations about how to prepare for a post Covid-19 work environment.
7. Personal Impact: How has the pandemic affected you and your work?
8. Proper citing of sources of information MLA. Use at least 3 different research sources
9. The report should be organized, well formatted and free of grammar and spelling errors. Always think of the reader when you are writing.
