ASSIGNMENT $4-1$ Journal

Please follow the following steps in any way that you feel is most appropriate $-$ it will be in written form,

STEP ONE $-$ CREATE YOUR DAILY BUSINESS JOURNAL.

Start by coming up with the areas you need to journal on$.$ For instance, this week you may be working on your networking.

Then once you have the general areas decided, identify the questions for each individual area. Identify $1-3$ questions to guide the writing on this topic.

You might write: Why do I avoid calling back when I get no response initially? Repeat this process for each of my areas.

Then I format the journal by having $1$ page for each piece of writing with the questions at the top and a box for writing. You may want to create this in Google Sheets and then export it as a PDF$.$

STEP TWO $-$ START AND END YOUR DAY WITH WRITING

Every morning, start your workday by completing one page. This wakes your brain up and starts your day working on something creative and primes the rest of the day.

Do the same thing as a way of wrapping up your workday too.

Depending on how many pages you have, you may spend Saturday wrapping up the rest of the pages.

STEP THREE $-$ PROCESS YOUR JOURNAL DURING YOUR WEEK

Reflect on your goals and activities using this weekly business journal. Plan your week and prioritize your tasks and projects to see what I need to do next and when.
