This week we will look at another business functions connection. As were discussing the business functions, were continuing to look at how the organization operates. From this perspective, the key business functions are management, operations, human resources, marketing, accounting, and finance.

The importance of the operations management function is critical for providing the companys products. Parts of the operations management function are intertwined with the marketing management function in designing the companys products. Operations management must work very closely with the finance function in obtaining an approved financial budget to produce and deliver the companys products.

For this assignment, discuss how the operations management function is interrelated and connected to the marketing, HR, accounting, and finance functions.

The discussion shall be approximately 1 to 2 pages in length, doubled space, using a size 12 font. Any direct quotes or the paraphrase of unique thoughts of others should be properly cited and referenced using general APA guidelines for identifying the individual and the source of the reference.
