This assignment relates to the following Course Learning Requirements:

CLR 1: Evaluate the recruitment process leading to a career in law enforcement.

CLR 3:Present oneself competently and professionally in the interview processes.

Objective of this Assignment: Take part in a Mock interview that reflects the STAR method style of behavioural based interviewing.

Pre-Assignment Instructions:

1. Review Module 9 and 10 content and their embedded Learning Activities.

Assignment Tasks:

Take part in a mock behaviour interview to mirror the process for law enforcement.

The Process:

1. Below you will find 4 behavioural-based interview questions. It will be expected that you answer the question. It is also expected that you demonstrate the correct competency for which the question is designed.
2. You will be required to submit 2 videos.
3. Each student will submit his or her videos via this submission folder for review.

Answer the question using this format as your guide

Situation (Task):

Describe the situation that you were in or the task that you needed to accomplish. You must describe the specific event or situation, not the generalized description of what you would have done in the past. Be sure to give enough detail so the interviewer can understand.

Action:

Describe the action you took and be sure to keep the focus on you. Don't tell them what you might do, tell them what you did. Also, be sure to include the feelings you experienced and your thought process along the way.

Result:

What happened? How did the event end? What did you accomplish? What did you learn?
