For this assignment you use this page to answer the questions shown below. You must do the commands as well. Each answer will follow the question and will be written in blue and bold.

1. Go into your assignments directory. Create a directory within your assignment's directory named "assignment6" write the command you used to do this.

2. Go into your assignment6 directory. Once there download the first page found at wccnet.edu. Write the command you used to do that.

3. The file you downloaded is in your assignment6 directory. Write the command to view the contents of that file.

4. Staying in the asignment6 directory write a single command that will list all the servers a request goes through to get from the server you are on to google.com. Put the contents of that into a file named "googletrace.txt". Write the command to do this.

5. I want to securely download a file from the cidermill server to my desktop. Write the command to do set up the access.

6. Once you have connected to the cidermill remote server you need to download the googletrace.txt file to your local desktop. Write the command that will do this.

7. Relog into Cidermill using ssh for rest of the questions. Get the long list of /usr/bin and output it to a file named userbin.txt in your assignment6 directory. Write the command to do this.

8. Get the long list of /etc and output it to a file named etc.txt in your assignment6 directory. Write the command to do this.

9. Combine both the userbin.txt and etc.txt files into one file named combined.txt. Make sure the combined.txt file is in our assignment6 directory. Write the command to do this.

10. Gzip the combined.txt file. Write the command to do this.

11. Archive the entire assignments directory. Write the command to do this.

12. Download the archived assignments file to your desktop. Write all the command you used to do this.
