2. Determine the data elements, which would need to be collected and stored for the task you chose.

3. Develop a data dictionary for the data elements.

4. Decide and indicate which type of database you would use for the task (i.e., flat file, relational). What are your reasons for choosing this type of database?

5. Choose database software for the task (i.e., Microsoft Access, Oracle). What are your reasons for selecting this database software?

For this project, think about every single data element connected with the task you choose. It is most important that the solutions presented be logical and complete enough to perform the tasks chosen. For example, a laboratory blood test without a patient identifier would be incomplete.
