Assignment Description: Throughout the course, learners will engage in a term project. This project will allow students to learn from experience as they start, run, and wrap-up a small business or micro-enterprise within the course's 14-week timeline. The overall goal of the term project is to make both revenue and profit in the 14-week timeline. Mid-way through the course, learners will create a digital representation of their business, products, or services by creating a type of commercial or online presentation. This presentation will be a 2-5 minute, creative online presentation about their business, products or services. Learners will be asked to upload or provide a link to their creative online presentation to the appropriate Dropbox Folder, their Tumblr account, or the designated Discussion Forum. The creative online showcase will broadly cover the following topics: Your business name The problem your business addresses The products or services your business offers to address the problem The value your business brings to your customers or clients Interesting information or facts about your business, products or services Contact information for you or your business Learners can also include pictures, photos, screen shots, infographics, etc. of their business, products, or services
