ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read the assignment scenario (see below)
2. The objective of this assignment is to create a Pareto chart in order to determine who are the major competitors and what is needed in order to compete with these companies. You will analyze the results in order to create a summary report. In your summary, consider the following five points:
   • the frequency of imports
   • the total dollar amount spent per import
   • the cumulative dollar amount spent per year
   • the percentage of each importers annual expenditure versus the total amount of expenditure in Ontario
   • and calculate the cumulative expenditure of all companies in Ontario
3. Create a series line chart with 2 separate sheets
   • Sheet1: Add the data table here, rename Sheet1 as Data
   • Sheet2: Add the chart here, Rename Sheet2 as Pareto Chart
4. Include your full name in Sheet1 cell A1 and center text
5. Format data table with theme cell style 40% Accent1
6. Add currency format where needed
7. Customize chart title
8. Autofit data info so it is fully visible in each cell
9. Use the frequency amounts and change it to numeric in the data table
10. In summary, indicate and describe the largest importers in the industry

ASSIGNMENT SCENARIO

You operate in the domestic food market and youre looking to expand your supply chain and import foodstuff internationally. Before deciding to import, however, you need to review the current importers in Ontario and assess which competitors are the market leaders.
