Your goal is to select one of the scenarios below and, in response to the situation listed in your scenario, develop, and implement an innovative and award$-$winning OHSA strategy for your business. Choose scenario: You are a member of the Health, Wellness, and Safety Team of a senior care facility$$in a Toronto suburb. Employees from a wide range of ethnic origins fill the roles of nurses, personal support workers, and housekeepers, either full or part time. Employees work irregular hours and juggle multiple obligations as they care for vulnerable patients and their families. Physical safety has always been a primary focus, and the company has a strong safety culture. Employees have received extensive training and are proficient in dealing with hazards such as biological and chemical agents, safe lifting practices, and the use of personal protective equipment. There has been an increase in animosity and conflict in the workplace during the past two years, both amongst employees and between patients and their families. The number of complaints and allegations of harassment has increased by $15\%,$ and morale is at an all$-$time low. This may have an effect on the safety of the residents.
