However, subsequent to the excavation process, the client's requirements changed to a two$-$

storey design. As a result, the factored load increased to $40$ kips. Due to the considerable

demand, plain concrete footing is no longer a viable option. Instead, the footing must be

designcd as reinforced concrete. Using the provided data, you are required to:
