Assignment Requirements &Timeline

The Interview:

Select and contact an HR Professional in Canada, (or a manager who manages people globally) working in a multinational organization to inquire about their willingness participate in a hour-45 minute informational interview with you (ideally in person or on Skype). Contact me ASAP if you any difficulties securing an interview.

The interview should occur no later than a month before your report submission to ensure you have adequate report prep time.

Research:

Ahead of the interview, conduct research on the organization and your interviewee (if available through LinkedIn and other public sources). Not only will this help you provide a background for your report, it is helpful for your question design and interview.

Questions:

Create a list of interview questions you intend to ask ahead of the interview (also to be included as an Appendix of your report).

These questions should be related to one or two course topics and These should be customized to reflect the Learning Outcomes and topics of our course (see our course syllabus).

Submission Requirements

Report:

The following will be required for your written submission:

Cover page with the title of the assignment, your name/each of your names;

Table of contents;

Short background of the Company;

Short biography of the person you interviewed;

Comprehensive Learning Summary (see Report Rubric below for what you should include for this) with citations and references to the text and/or other relevant sources;

Bibliography;

List of questions asked during the interview (as an Appendix);

All of this information should be submitted to Turnitin.

Overall written report presentation (formatting, organization and thoughtful presentation of findings, etc.) 6-8 pages total	The students(s) writing is clear and concise. The length is appropriate.
