What is the next device?

Since last weeks assignment was mostly math, this weeks is far more creative.

Over the last twenty years, American consumers have benefited from the arrival of a series of new technology-driven devices which have quickly become mainstays in our lives. From the now-forgotten VCR to the latest smart phone, new technological devices have changed and (we think/hope) improved our lives. At least I believe that when I am hopelessly lost and Waze or Uber rescue me.

So what comes next? Your assignment this week is to identify and define the next device which, within the next ten years, will become ubiquitous and which will change our lives. In 500 words, identify the device and explain what it will do to make life better.
