Use the Jill White Written Case Analysis Template (available on Canvas) to prepare a written case analysis and formal consulting report to Jill White.

Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to gain experience in writing case analyses in the form of a formal consulting report to top management.

Skills

In this assignment, we will focus on developing the following skills:

1. Using case facts and inferences to develop alternative explanations for case events
2. Writing a consulting report from the perspective of an external consultant
3. Writing case analyses (or consulting reports) that make proper use of the Introduction, Analysis, and Recommendation sections
4. Writing an Analysis section in a way that allows readers to anticipate all recommendations in the Recommendations section
5. Writing persuasive case analyses (consulting reports) that convince top managers to adopt recommendations
6. Using examples and citations to case facts to explain how asserted causes of a case event are the real causes
7. Writing sentences that begin with the sentence subject and have active verbs
8. Writing paragraphs in which all the sentences address the same subject
9. Organizing papers using section titles and subtitles
10. Organizing paragraphs into sections having the same focus
11. Writing case analyses that are concise and free of grammatical and spelling errors
12. Using Microsoft Word grammar and spelling checkers to eliminate grammar and spelling errors

2. Read the "Guidelines for Written Case Analyses" (Available on Canvas).
3. Use the Jill White Written Case Template to prepare your Final Consulting Report to Jill White, CEO
4. Use Microsoft Word grammar and spelling checker to eliminate all identified errors.

Submission Format

Please submit your Final Consulting Report to Jill White, CEO, in Microsoft Word format. I will be using Microsoft Word grammar and spelling checkers to check that there are no grammar or spelling errors.
