Assignment: Word Cloud 1. First, research various ethical terms found in Codes of Ethics and Standards of Professional Behavior. 2. Then, create a WORD document listing 15 of the most common ethical terms that you discovered in your research. (Examples: honesty, confidentiality, etc.) 3. Next, create a Word Cloud with the ethical terms that you have listed. a. What is a Word Cloud? i. Consider taking 1-2 minutes to research images for word cloud. This search will provide the answer to, What is a Word Cloud? while simultaneously allowing you to see the variety of colors, shapes, and designs; you can create. ii. According to boostlabs.com, Word clouds (also known as text clouds or tag clouds) work in a simple way: the more a specific word appears in a source of textual data (such as a [list of words], speech, blog post, or database), the bigger and bolder it appears in the word cloud. (Boostlabs.com) b. How do I create a Word Cloud? i. Search the Internet using key words: Word Cloud Generator ii. Discover multiple free online software programs for creating Word Clouds such as, Word.Cloud.com and WordArt.com 1. Learners will not need to download any software to their computer 2. Find the generator/creator that you like best c. How do I attach/upload the Word Cloud to my document? i. Copy/paste the Word Cloud to a Word Document. ii. You can either take a screenshot, take a picture with your phone and upload, or copy/paste the Word Cloud into your assignment. In order to gain all of the points the Word Cloud must be in the Word Document not uploaded separately. 4. Submit your assignment to the drop box.
