At U$.$S$.$ Customs and Border Protection $($CBP$),$ an Agent who is unable to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency with a firearm will have the authority to carry a firearm suspended and must immediately relinquish the firearm to the Instructor. The Agent will then be immediately scheduled for remedial training. In the event the Agent fails remedial training due to reasons beyond the Agent's control, then they may be reassigned to a position that does not require the carrying of a firearm.From the information given above, it CANNOT be validly concluded that, at CBP$,$O A$)$ if an Agent must relinquish his or her firearm to the Instructor after having the authority to carry the firearm suspended, the onlyreason can be that the Agent was unable to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency with the firearmO B$)$ all Agents who have failed remedial training for reasons beyond their control may be reassigned to a position that does not requirethe carrying of a firearmO C$)$ if an Agent is unable to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency with a firearm, then that Agent must relinquish the firearm tothe Instructor after having the authority to carry the firearm suspendedO D$)$ no Agent who fails remedial training for reasons beyond the individual's control will be denied the possibility of being reassigned to aposition that does not require the carrying of a firearrO E$)$ if an Agent retains authority to carry a firearm, then that Agent has not failed to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency withthe firearm
