Based on what you have read in Chapter 2, read the following experiences of Jamie. Then, in about 300 words, explain what ethical violations she was exposed to and/or committed herself, and discuss how she could have handled them ethically. You may list them if you wish, just make sure you have met the word requirement.

Jamie started working for I & P Publishing in 2015. Since that time, she has had many problems with a coworker, Tom. At the company picnic, Tom told Jamie that he would put in a good word for a raise with their boss if she helped him work on his Marketing proposal for the company's upcoming book release. Jamie had worked hard on hers, and was nearly finished, so she decided to help him. During his presentation, he said the new numbers for that year were much higher than they were. He also said he had a friend in a bookstore that would stock their books in their windows for exclusive rights to their new releases. Jamie agreed to this.

Several months later, Jamie was reading through Tom's quarterly reports and read some information she recalled seeing in another associate's work. When her boss asked her if she saw anything interesting, she remained silent. The same day, Jamie's printer broke at home. She brought one of the new laser printers home, thinking she would be able to do major printing at home, since that was easier, and she wouldn't have to fill out paperwork for requests.

Jamie was very excited to find out that an agent wanted to work with her. Her publisher would get a percentage of the agent's commission if they published anything the agent gave them. What a deal!
