Based on your learnings from modules 3-5, your final summative assessment will be a simulation on how you respond to tricky work situations. The goal is to defend your position logically and coherently. Aside from your verbal response, your non verbal cues will also be observed. You will be given five work situations and you have to record your responses through a video. Feel free to simulate or role-play with a co-actor or props to help you generate a more genuine response.

Here are your simulated work situations:

1. Your vacation leave is denied despite submitting early and following the proper protocol. Also, your flight has been booked already. How will you reason out yourself to your immediate boss?
2. You received an indecent proposal from your boss in exchange for a promotion and salary increase. How will you say no politely?
3. Supervisor adds additional workload that you cant handle at the meantime. She reasons out that youre the best person for this task. How will you say no?
4. You are going to receive the much awaited promotion (and salary increase) you have been working on for almost 2 years. However, you have to be relocated somewhere else, which you are not comfortable at. Even if you can bring your family with you, how will you politely decline?
5. A senior co-worker asked you to punch in for his/her time record that he is present despite his actual absence at work. Being an obedient and nave colleague, who is new, you agreed to do so and got caught for falsifying attendance record. How will you reason out yourself?
