Before attempting this mini-task you should study Chapter 13 of the prescribed textbook (Zikmund 2017).
This mini-task consists of two parts: in Part A you will interpret SPSS output for T-test and in Part B you will perform analysis in SPSS yourself.
Part A
Assume that the statistical output below was all the information that you were given.
- What statistical test was used to generate this output?
- Interpret the statistical output.
- Why would a credit manager be interested in the results?
Part B
Now you should be very familiar with Internet Usage SPSS dataset that was used in the last two Mini-Tasks. Using the data about Internet Usage, you need to do the following:
- Perform one of each tests (four in total): One Sample T-test, Independent Samples T-test, Paired samples T-test and ANOVA. Hint: For One Sample T-test you can select any exogenous value to test against, but need to justify.
- You have to chose appropriate variables and justify why certain test can be applied?
- For each of the four tests state null and alternative hypotheses. Next, interpret the results. If you need to recode some variables or do selection of responses, explain. For sample interpretation refer to file Help: T-test and ANOVA posted in Week 10 main page or below.
- In your answer you should include screenshots from SPSS output.
