After digging through her purse, the customer responds, "I seem to have left my wallet at home." Looking at the clock, Linda knows that the branch closes shortly and no branch is open on Saturdays. Citing standard procedures, Linda tells the young woman that she cannot cash the check without ID to which the young lady replies, "But I have no food for me and my children. The money was for groceries." Linda looks at the check and says the only other option is to deposit the check and the money will be available instantly via a debit card since it was on an Instant Bank and Savings account. The young woman then stated, "I don't have an account here. Linda now requests assistance from her manager who simply reinforces the bank standard and says the woman will have to wait until Monday to cash the check as they are now closing. Should Linda cash the check? Is the young woman really Kelly Robinson?
