Ben Hull has owned the Sportz Zone (a bar) for 10 years and it has an outdoor patio in the summer. Recently several new houses were built near the sportz Zone. Laura bought a new house but has complained to Ben that she cannot sit in her backyard or often sleep at night because of their loud patio music. Ben said he has a right to run his business there, so she had better learn to live with it. Laura was so upset that the next day she stood in the Sportz Zone parking lot with a sign that said "Sportz Zone destroys the neighbourhood". Ben went outside and told her to leave but she refused, and she hit Ben with the sign. Ben then physically dragged Laura kicking and screaming over to the sidewalk. Jill, who was walking by, saw Laura on the sidewalk and asked if she was okay. Jill did not see the altercation between Ben and Laura. Laura said she had just been attacked by Ben for no reason. Jill was a journalist with the local newspaper, The Times. The next day The Times printed a story Jill wrote that said, "Ben Hull, Sportz Zone's owner, viciously attacked an innocent woman for no reason. People should stop going to this dangerous bar." Ben is terribly angry and plans legal action, Laura says she plans to sue, and The Times says it is proud of its story. 1) What tort has arisen due to the Sports Zone's loud music.
