Briefly comment on the following post and Do you plan to read the article? Why or why not? What in your experiences corresponds to what was described in your peer's post? Do you agree with what your peer posted. The article I read was Reshaping Crisis Management: The challenge of organizational design by Tony Jaques. This article focused on bringing attention to a new approach to a crisis, while bringing attention to the traditional methods. The new approach discussed is referred to as crisis prevention. Crisis prevention is the act of preventing a crisis from happening vs reacting to a crisis that happens. This entire article was a surprise to me. I would have assumed that a crisis management team would have the idea of preventing a crisis as its first priority. The article mentions that it wasn't until 1995 that it was brought up that crises are not events but a process (1995,p. 2 ). I agree with this statement because many crises can be prevented with preventive maintenance. Prevention should be the foundation of any crisis prevention plan and it can be constructed off of crises tha other companies in a similar field have done through. I wouldn't
