Briefly comment on the following post, do you agree or disagree. In the article, Timing is Everything: The Optimal Time to Learn from Crises, by Sarah Kovoor-Misra and Maria Nathan, they highlight a different approach of how we can view crises. On numerous occasions when a crisis takes place people begin to figure out how this happened and how to quickly come out on the other side of the problem. Yet, a crisis can be a great opportunity for a corporation, organization, individuals, or collectives to learn and identify areas that need to be changed and/or enhanced. This mindset can be considered looking at a problem as half full rather than looking at it half empty. One of the things that the authors highlighted was that crisis can create a critical period of learning readiness in organizations. In addition, they mentioned stakeholders both inside and outside of the organizations are aware that something must be done and motivated to make changes, yet it doesn't automatically mean that they've learned from it, possibly have learned the wrong things, or learned anything.
