Bright who is 15 years old, buys a motor cycle from Ernest's Bike Shop. Jonathan says that Bright can pay for the motor cycle later. Bright is in GVX Formula One bicycle training school (the 'School') at Madina, Accra as a young apprentice. The GVX Formula One Training School accepts students from the ages of 12 years to 21 years. The School has only one bicycle for practicals and encourages its students to own a bicycle. However, owning a bicycle is not mandatory but desirable. Jonathan also issues a motor cover note to Bright on behalf of Enterprise Insurance Co., for whom Jonathan is an agent. The cover note is for 30 days and again he is told he can pay the premium at a later day. Three weeks later, Bright sells the motor cycle, spending half the money on jewellery and the rest on a party for his friends. He has not paid Jonathan for the motor cycle or the Enterprise Insurance Co. for the insurance.
