Context

$-$ A customer wants to help their internal employees to easily create short links from really long links.

$-$ They don't want to any external url shortening service, but have a simple URL Shortener internally

$-$ They want to give this functionality through a Slack bot

Requirements

$-$ User goes to the slack bot and pastes a long link

$-$ The bot should respond back with a shortened link

$-$ It should be built either with Rails $($or$)$ Django. Rails preferred.

Details

$-$ Create a URL Shortening service that accepts a long URL and converts that to a short url, host it in heroku

$-$ It should expose a slack bot service which connects to this URL shortening service.
