You'll choose one of the missions for a complete makeover, which means: Choose a business-adjacent medium for writing Purpose of modifying the document Modifying Voices: Phrasing and Medium for New Business Audiences. Maybe you're trying to write a memo with new strategies to help struggling writers; maybe you're writing a formal letter criticizing a self-aggrandizing athlete. The goal is to repurpose the document according to my business environment.

Remember, readers will change the way you write. Sports blogs and academic articles certainly have audiences suitable for writing this way, but not for business-based audiences. 1. First try to explain yourself what the main point is (you need to understand the main idea so that you can revise it later). 2. Decide what medium you will use to revise this document; the medium should be adjacent to the business (eg memorandum, official letter, etc.). 3. Identify your purpose (Will you propose cost-saving measures? Will you propose new strategies to help struggling students?) 4. Rewrite your document with your audience and intent in mind.

Your finished product should be a document suitable for a professional environment, written in a voice suitable for a business environment. Of course, what is considered "professional" varies from organization to organization, so it's up to you to decide which company you want to target.
