Establishing a Road Map Before Reading

All of these statements except one are good approaches to establishing a road map before you read the full text. Choose the one statement that is not part of the pre$-$reading process.

Recall existing knowledge about the ideas in the text by asking yourself, "What do I already know about this topic?" and "How do my experiences relate to this topic?"

Predict the text by asking yourself, "What will I learn?" and "How are the reading's ideas related to my existing knowledge?"

Read the entire text and take thorough notes on the content.

Preview the section headings and sub$-$headings of the chapter and visuals, such as diagrams, tables, and charts.
