c program only
Q1. As a biomedical design engineer, you are instructed to design an embedded C program for a vital sign monitor which could monitor the patient's body temperature, heart rate (HR) and arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2). It is assumed that the input vital signals are retrieved continuously from different medical sensors and stored into dedicated local variables as stated in Table 1. If there is any vital signal beyond the normal threshold, dedicate output alert signal will be activated by setting the value of correspond local variables as stated in Table 2. Please also note the vital sign monitor is also equipped with a system RESET signal which is used to clear all the output alert signals. Table 1: Input signal of vital sign monitor and specification Input Signal Local Variable Threshold Value Action System Reset Reset Clear all the alert LEDs and buzzer Body Temperature Temperature Temperature 37.2C LED and buzzer Heart Rate HR HR 100 bpm buzzer Arterial Oxygen SpO2 SpO2
