Hodges (2015) In your post this week, address the main ideas of each reading. Thinking back to where we started our course in the 1860s and 1870s, to what extent do these readings reveal major change within the U.S.? To what extent are they a continuation of trends that began in the late nineteenth century? (It may help to skim the table of contents for Chapters 15 and 16 if you don't remember that info.)
