Can someone help me find a really good recent TOPIC.

Business, economic, and current policy issues are all possible topics. Focus on a certain industry or perhaps even a single company and be as prcise as you can. Trade journals, business news publications (such as The Economist, Harvard Business Review, etc.), and the business section of major newspapers are all excellent places to look for a topic to write about. The important thing is that the issue / topic you find is currently 'in-play', meaning issues have not yet been resolved but still lends itself to some basic research.
