Write a short essay focusing on who you are—what your interests are, what your goals are, what you want to learn this semester. This is a short, introductory essay. It must be a minimum of three paragraphs and 300 words and formatted as shown in the “paper layout” power-point in the module. It is a graded assignment. This differs from the discussion answer in a few ways. First, I will be the only one reading this assignment. Second, you will need to go into much more detail over three paragraphs than you will in the discussion post. Avoid repeating the same information. Select new ideas to share about your life and give the essay a point—a unifying idea or a thesis. What is the overall idea you want the reader to know about you? Focus on that idea.
