The environmental analysis in the PESTLE is crucial and vital factor of analysis for industries like tourism, farming etc. And Marriott Company being the one of the most famous hotel groups around the world this would be vital in a wider sense.

Myanmar

In Myanmar with the political stability at the right place now, the country is also leading the pathway into the boom of countrys hotel industry. But at the same time due to this fast expansion, there are various environmental problems being reported in the country with respect to waste water treatment and such other problems demanding more compliance by the activists with regard to regulations and placement of proper policies for the hotels. And people who are coming to hotels would majorly be coming for business meetings, visiting friends or family and also for vacations. When they are visiting Myanmar into the major tourist destinations then they would be looking for a warm and relaxed stay.

So when coming to Myanmar for setting hotel, the entity should be more concerned about the activist and the eyes and ears of the common people that are open with regard to sanitation and other factors which causes environmental hazards as Myanmar is in lot of environmental issues arising out of deforestation and make themselves sure to build policies and adhere to the same without any failure such that they set an example for other players entering the market.

Laos

Laos is one of the most beautiful places to visit and which many tourists choose for their touring destination. The climate is majorly hot and humid with the best season of visit being November and February when there would be small showers and the climate would not be too hot and humid.

With a country having prospect for flood, it would be best that the entity study the overall map of the country such as to choose the best destination with least scope for flood and storm so as to have a safe place for their visitors and it would be good if the entity brings in more offers and opening for tourists during these times of the year as it is best and safe time for the visitors.

Being a country with some high rates of deforestation, Marriott should as responsible corporate take necessary actions for controlling the deforestation and serving back to the society.
