Case Analysis Project Directions:

$$You will conduct your case analysis individually along the following guidelines:

$$You will be selecting a company$/$brand or organization that is of interest to you. All companies and organizations are involved in some way with marketing.

$$Find one recent $($within one year$)$ popular press article that discusses a current or potential problem $($threat$)$ or opportunity facing the company. This would be the $$OT$$ part of a conventional $$SWOT$$ analysis. This issue will serve as the $$theme$$ for the presentation.

$$Provide some brief background on the company then discuss your issue incorporating what we have been talking or reading about in Introduction to Marketing. Explain how the organization managed the issue. What is the threat or opportunity? How did the organization combat the threat or take advantage of the opportunity? What is your opinion regarding the company$$s actions? What would you do differently? How would you improve upon the decision the company made? Or$,$ what would you advise if they are about to make a decision? Overall, be sure to relate the case study analysis to topics we have discussed in class.

$$ It will just be turned in as a written $2$ to $3$ page, double$-$spaced, Times New Roman $($or the closest equivalent$)$ case analysis that will automatically be run through SafeAssign by Blackboard upon submission.

$$ List all references $($e$.$g$.,$ websites, academic journals, magazines, newspapers, books, personal interviews, etc.$).$ The references need to be on the final page of the case study analysis, submitted through Blackboard SafeAssign $($just like how you submitted your first tutorial$).$ You may use any referencing format style. One reference is the minimum of a popular press article from the last year but you are free to reference more than one.
