Case description

Ecuador has been successful in developing markets for the export of roses. In fact, the product is one of the most important exports, only behind oil and bananas. This success is partially the result of a competitive workforce, as well as unique geographic advantages, including fewer weather risks compared to neighboring competitors. Producers have also collaborated with competitors and buyers to meet consumer needs.
