The Case - One Sandwich Caravan Company is a sandwich shop that sell one type of sandwiches only, meat. Employees are highly trained in making sandwiches and dealing with customers. Customer is always right and Employees must be highly polite with customers are some motto's that every employee knows very well. New employees are trained to follow 7 steps of how to make the sandwich and deliver it to the customer. They are even trained on how to put sandwich condiments (substance such as salt, mustard, or pickle that is used to add flavor to food) on the sandwich in the same order. As part of their training, employees fully aware that they are not allowed to raise their voice or shout at a customer, even if the customer is wrong- as such an act will lead to receiving an official warning. Lately, the company is planning to introduce a one time, chicken sandwich. Both customers and employees are eagerly waiting for the new sandwich. However, nine smaller plans must be completed to enable the introduction of the chicken sandwich. Employees rarely leave the sandwich company as they are extremely satisfied. Accordingly, the company enjoys one of the lowest employee turnovers in the industry.
