Miss Reem is a successful marketer in Ibri, plans to launch a mechanized based bread bakery. Miss Reem is interested in introducing two varieties of bread in her bakery namely the Milk bread' and Wheat Bread. Other baked products will be added in the product line in her bakery as a plan. She is also interested in starting various branches of the bakery across Sultanate of Oman. She wants to purchase machinery that can produce 250 loaves of bread per day.
Miss Reem surveyed that 50% of the people in the country have bread for breakfast. She also observed that college students, especially girls and working women stay in the hostel and lead a very busy life. Hence they prefer ready-made baked products rather than preparing on their own at home.
Miss Reem knew that most of the bakeries in her place simply wrap the bread in a white packet or sometimes even deliver the bread without having a proper packing. Hence Miss Reem decided that her bakery products should be more attractive in packing with less selling price than her competitors. She had a strong feeling that there will be a good market potential for bread in Ibri with an aggressive promotional campaign.
