As we discussed in class, there is a five$(5)$ step process to determine whether an injury and or illness to a worker must be recorded as required by OSHA. For the following scenarios determine whether the situation meets the requirement.

In the following $2$ scenarios determine if the employee experienced and injury or and illness

Scenario A: A worker reports to the nurses' station with a complaint of painful wrists. The employee was given $2$ Advil and returned to the job.

Scenario B: There is a chlorine gas leak at the XYZ establishment and the two employees in the area are rushed to the hospital. They are told to stay home the next day as a precautionary measure.

In the following $3$ scenarios determine if the injury is work related

Scenario C: An employee gives blood at a voluntary employer $-$ sponsored blood drive and passes out.

Scenario D: An employee sprains an ankle in the company parking lot on the way to work.

Scenario E: An employee slips and falls in the hallway, breaking his arm while working on his daughter's science project on Saturday, the employee's day off

In the following $3$ scenarios determine if the injury or illness is new case

Scenario F: Five weeks ago, the employee sprained a wrist at work and received support, prescription medication, and "light duty". Two weeks ago, the employee was back on the normal job and completely recovered. Today $($five weeks after the injury$)$ the employee complains of pain in the same wrist after moving boxes.

Scenario G: Five weeks ago, the employee sprained a wrist at work and received support, prescription medication, and "light duty". Two weeks ago, the employee was back on the normal job but continues to take prescription medication. Today $($five weeks after the injury$)$ the employee complains of pain in the same wrist after moving boxes.
