Ch 4 Discussion Question (DQ) This course will utilize discussion boards as a method of engaging students through interaction. Your answers to the Discussion Questions (DQs) must be at least 200 words. Answers less than 200 words will receive a grade of zero (0). Do not include the question in your posting. Initial responses are due Wednesdays by 10 pm. Additionally, you must respond to one of your peer's discussion board postings. You only need to post a total of 1 response per week (one per Discussion Question). Your responses must be substantive and add value to the discussion. Do not "grade" or "evaluate" your peer's comments (don't say "great post" or "l agree"), instead add new information to advance the conversation. You can earn up to 10 points for each discussion question. Your initial (ORIGINAL) response can earn up to 8 points, and your response to a peer's post is worth up to 2 points per response. Here is the DQ for this Week. Ch 4 DQ. The text and lecture discuss creating job descriptions and job specifications. Describe one reason why job descriptions or a job specification can be different for the same position (in your own words). For instance, you could explain why the bartender job description at a fine dining restaurant than the bartender job description at a night club. You can choose any position that you wish. Then find a job posting for a position that you would like to hold in the future. It might be interesting to ask ChatGPT or another Al source to generate a job description for a specific position. List and explain three items on the job description listed on the job posting that you think are interesting or particularly relevant. Describe how the HR department for that company would know what to include in that job description. Try to find a position description different from others. Name your post with the name of the position and where you found it (or if it's from a specific organization/business)
